How to Progress Fast in Merge Dig Simulator
A free-to-play hour that turns Day 1 into something closer to Day 99.
Fast in Merge Dig Simulator does not mean a secret command. It means stacking every free multiplier the listing already gives you, then spending coins only on duplicate pickaxes. Official “Day 1 / Day 99” art is the pitch: one tool versus a swarm of stronger tools. This page is the route between those two screenshots without pretending Robux is required.
If you have not spawned yet, read getting started first. This guide assumes you can already open Shop.
The one-hour route
0–5 min. Like the experience, join Merge Diggers, redeem Release. Do not pop the potion in the menu. Paths: group and Premium, codes.
5–15 min. Find the green cube wall. Activate the Coin Potion. Mine without sightseeing. How to mine.
15–25 min. Buy a duplicate of your current pickaxe. Merge. Repeat if the potion is still ticking. How to merge.
25–40 min. First named unlock that the shop now allows, but only if you can see a path to its duplicate. Otherwise keep doubling what you have. Pickaxe tier list.
40–60 min. Spend leftover coins on the highest-ranked mining or merge upgrade you can afford. Ignore trails, titles, and “looks Pro.” Upgrade tier list. Tick the session checklist so the next login starts at merge, not at wandering.
Speed rules that actually move the screenshot
- Duplicates before novelty. A new name you cannot double is a trophy. A twin you can merge is a tier.
- Potion time is wall time. Every Shop extra tap during
Releaseis donated to the timer. - Free flags before Robux. Like, group, invite, then Premium if you already pay for Roblox anyway.
- Eight-player lag is slower than a quiet server. Hop if hits drop.
- Do not import another game’s rebirth plan. Public Merge & Dig! coverage does not document a rebirth loop. If a later changelog adds one, we will rewrite this section. Until then, do not reset your pickaxes because a different simulator said so.
Premium is a multiplier, not a skip
+10% coins is real and boring. It does not grant Secret. It makes the same wall pay slightly more. Buy Premium because you already wanted Roblox Premium, not because a thumbnail said PRO. F2P players still complete the merge ladder; they just drink potions more carefully.
What “fast” looks like versus what ads look like
Fast: more orbiting pickaxes, a higher-tier name, coins that buy the next twin in minutes instead of a sitting. Ads: rainbow tools, gem caves, coin mountains. You get the ad cave by repeating the hour above, not by hunting a hidden NPC. Official Start vs Pro art is a merge montage, not two game modes.
When to stop pushing
If you cannot afford a duplicate even after a potion, stop buying random shop rows and re-read the tier list hub. If codes fail, stop entering YouTube comments and return to the codes hub. If you are considering an auto-farm, read script safety before you attach anything to the client — a ban is the slowest progression in the game.
Session two and beyond
Next logins skip the tutorial nerves: check Discord via links for a new code, mine a short potion if you have one, merge, log out. Incremental games punish long unfocused evenings more than they punish short sharp ones. Keep updates in the rotation so a shop rearrange does not look like a broken merge button.
Progress is a stack of twins. Everything else is decoration.
